LRはLoad Reduction (ロードリダクション) の略で、肩の負担を軽減するパッドを意味しており、本品は軽量で伸縮撥水性に優れたフレックス(SAM1)素材を全面に使用し、湾曲する際にシワやダボツキが出ない様にも工夫しています。手触り滑らかなSAM1は摩擦係数も低く激動時も肩にかかるストレスを軽減します。
パッドの突っ張りを軽減すると共にハイドレーションホースやコードを通す前提でパッド中心部分にはスリット(切れ目)を入れています。
主に1インチから1.5インチ幅のウェビングストラップに通して肩部分のパッドとして使用します。内部には5ｍｍ厚のクッション材を内蔵しているので重量物に対するしっかりとしたクッション性を発揮します。
