About
Volk Tactical Gear
Volk Tactical Gear is an Osaka-based tactical gear brand that utilizes Japan's proud manufacturing technology and spirit.
Osaka has long been known as a "city of manufacturing," attracting many craftsmen and creators and fostering a unique culture. As a part of this culture, we use reliable technology and innovative ideas to create equipment that is trusted by professionals in the field.
The products produced in an environment that breathes the vitality of the city and the warmth of people's handiwork reflect the voices of users who work in the field every day, and combine functionality, durability, and design.
Our gear is manufactured in Japan using American-made materials that are durable enough to handle the job. We do not do large-scale deliveries because we see our mission as being to produce specialized gear in small quantities, with the reliability of Made in Japan.
We also produce a wide range of airsoft training items, EDC gear, apparel, accessories, and more, and strive to promote military culture in Japan.
Our Story
Volk Tactical Gear started in January 2004 in a six-tatami room in Nishinari-ku, Osaka (OSAKA NISHINARI CITY). The founder, BOSS, originally worked on an apparel brand, but was very dissatisfied with conventional equipment, and decided to take on a new challenge with the belief that "I want to make gear that I can truly trust." With just one sewing machine as his partner, he began manufacturing tactical gear.
BOSS is well versed in the durability and functionality of equipment required in the field, and has poured its passion into each and every product, paying careful attention to every detail. Osaka City, where it all began, is a city of craftsmanship where artisans, technology, and spirit live on. Volk Tactical Gear also inherits the energy of the city and continues to make products without compromise.
Since its founding in 2004, Volk Tactical Gear has continued to evolve with the times, and has grown into a brand beloved not only in Japan but also overseas. However, the original spirit of "making gear that is truly useful in the field" remains unchanged to this day.
