Who is Eiji Nakayama of Tetsukoryu, the sculptor who made our VTG OGRE and ROWGA masks? He is likely to be of particular interest to customers who purchase Ouga and Rowga masks. With the new website now featuring a blog function, we would like to take this opportunity to introduce some representative examples and works by Eiji Nakayama of Tetsukoryu.
First of all, what kind of man is Nakayama Eiji?
At first, he was a finisher who made garage kits as a hobby.
After that, he was in charge of producing finished product samples for a garage kit manufacturer called Volks. Around that time, he met Mr. Nirasawa by some chance, who invited him to visit Mr. Takeya's workshop. At the same time, a friend also invited him to join a modeling group called Heavy Gage, but Nakayama chose Mr. Takeya's workshop. As a result, his common sense up until that point was overturned, and this choice became a major turning point in his life. As Nakayama helped out the work of Mr. Takeya, whom he looked up to as his mentor, and asked for his guidance, he developed a style that would become the basis for his unique arrangement modeling. After that, he continued to work as a writer for model magazines, while also producing commercial prototypes and event figure prototypes, which is where he is today. Please refer to the examples of his past works below.

It's quite voluminous due to Guts' large size.
The equipment, made using a variety of materials, is impressive.
Even when viewed on magazine pages, the sense of dynamism is conveyed.
