SS CORE

Overview

The SS CORE is a lightweight magazine carrier redesigned for the CORE system, inheriting the structure and concept of the SS POUCH series.

While maintaining the high retention and slim design characteristic of elastic pouches, it improves the difficulty of inserting magazines. It supports direct mounting to plate carriers and chest rig operation, enabling a slick equipment setup.

Features

The most distinctive feature of the SS CORE is the CURV® guide used at the insertion opening. This reduces snagging when re-inserting magazines, which is often a weakness of elastic pouches, allowing for smooth magazine manipulation. By balancing retention and reload performance, practical usability has been greatly improved.

The main body uses elastic nylon with excellent tension retention, and laminated nylon is placed in areas subject to high stress. By using high-strength materials only where necessary, durability is ensured while maintaining lightness. In addition, the structure that reduces the burden on elastic materials ensures stable performance over a long period.

The back side is Velcro-compatible, allowing for direct attachment to the front of a plate carrier. The buckle position can be arbitrarily changed by the user, providing flexible compatibility with various carriers. Furthermore, by attaching a Split Bar Buckle or similar to the side slits, it can also be used as a chest rig.

Adding the separately sold Micro Bungee Tab can further enhance retention, allowing for customization according to equipment environment and usage.

The lineup includes two types: a 3-magazine AR type and a 4-magazine SMG type. It is designed as a lightweight and minimal CORE system, in contrast to the RUFUS CORE.
