MPC-V1 / Plate Bag
The MPC-V1 is a plate carrier redesigned from VTG's flagship DPC-V2 model, with a focus on lightness and a slim profile.
While the DPC-V2 is designed for long-term wear with an emphasis on load distribution and comfort, the MPC-V1 distills these elements down to a simpler configuration.
The DPC-V2 uses a variety of highly hydrophobic materials, making it a higher-cost model due to its construction, which balances environmental resistance and comfort at a high level. The SBPC-V2 maintains a feel similar to the DPC while reviewing materials and structure to achieve a more accessible price point.
The MPC-V1 is positioned between these two models.
Its material composition prioritizes hydrophobicity like the DPC-V2, ensuring it is less affected by moisture, while its design omits permanent cushioning and complex load-distribution structures to keep the price equivalent to the SBPC-V2. Weighing only 445g for the plate bag alone (excluding the cummerbund), it is extremely lightweight and highly maneuverable.
The shoulder straps do not feature an articulated structure but can be fixed at your preferred angle. By designing the base to be thin, rifle stocks are less likely to interfere, supporting a natural shooting stance. Its thin, lightweight profile is suitable for applications where mobility and handling are prioritized.
The back is equipped with a CRYE-compliant ZIP-ON standard. Replaceable shoulder straps with optional QD buckles are also available to further enhance ease of putting on and taking off.
If the DPC is a model that pursues comfort, the MPC is a model that well-balances lightness and environmental resistance.
It serves as a distinct alternative to the SBPC, resulting in a simple and easy-to-use plate carrier.
