MPC-V1 / Plate Bag
The MPC-V1 is a plate carrier based on VTG's flagship model, the DPC-V2, and has been redesigned with a focus on lightness and thinness.
While the DPC-V2 is a model that emphasizes load distribution and comfort and is designed for long-term wear, the MPC-V1 has a simpler structure with only the necessary elements carefully selected.
The DPC-V2 is a high-cost model due to its construction, as it uses a lot of highly hydrophobic materials and achieves a high level of environmental resistance and comfort. The SBPC-V2 maintains a similar comfort to the DPC, but by revising the materials and construction, it is priced at a more general price range.
The MPC-V1 is a model that falls in between these two.
The material composition is hydrophobic, just like the DPC-V2, making it less susceptible to moisture, but by not using permanent cushions or complex load distribution structures, the price has been kept at the same level as the SBPC-V2. The plate bag itself weighs just 445g (excluding the cummerbund), making it extremely easy to handle.
The shoulder strap is not movable, but can be fixed at your preferred angle. The thin base design minimizes interference with the rifle stock and supports a natural stance. The thin, lightweight profile is ideal for applications where mobility and operability are important.
The back is equipped with a CRYE-compliant ZIP-ON standard, and you can easily put it on and take it off by replacing it with a shoulder strap with a QD buckle (sold separately).
While the DPC is a model that pursues comfort, the MPC is a model that balances lightness and environmental resistance.
As a different option to the SBPC, this plate carrier is simple and easy to use.
